Good Reasons to Book a Teleconsult

Teleconsultation isn't a replacement for in-person care — it's a fast, convenient alternative when the problem doesn't need hands-on assessment.

Acute minor illness

Coughs, colds, sore throat, mild UTI, minor skin rashes — where a video call can safely establish a diagnosis and get you started on treatment.

Repeat prescriptions

Refills of your existing chronic-disease medications when nothing else has changed. Delivered to your door where clinically appropriate.

Chronic disease follow-up

Blood-pressure and diabetes reviews when your latest labs are already in — a video visit is often enough to titrate medications and set the next check-in.

MSK triage

Not sure whether your knee, back or shoulder pain needs a scan, a physio or an injection? A quick video triage saves you a wasted visit.

Mental wellbeing check-in

First-line assessment for low mood, anxiety and sleep issues — with onward referral when appropriate.

Five Minutes from Booking to Doctor

1

Book online

Choose a same-day or scheduled slot and pay online — no need to call or visit first.

2

Join the video call

You'll get a secure link. The doctor reviews your history, asks questions and examines what can be examined visually.

3

Prescription + plan

Where clinically appropriate, medications can be sent directly to your address and investigations arranged. Anything that needs hands-on assessment is booked into the clinic instead.

4

In-person follow-up if needed

If the doctor decides the problem needs hands-on assessment, we'll book you into the clinic — the teleconsult fee comes off the in-person visit.

Come In Instead When…

  • You have chest pain, breathing difficulty, sudden severe headache, weakness on one side, or any red-flag symptom — go straight to A&E or call 995.
  • You need a physical examination — a lump, a rash you want us to see, a joint that needs testing, or an injection.
  • You need blood tests or imaging on the same visit.
  • The problem is complex or the picture isn't clear from a video call — an in-person visit is safer.
